Explore Classroom

On the Home page, you can view and enter all your classes.

To open the Home page:

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.Learn how to sign in to Classroom.

Your homepage brings your most important coursework and tools directly to the surface. From here, you can view upcoming assignments in the Due soon module, access interactive AI features in the Class learning tools module, and find all your active classes. Learn how to navigate your Classroom Homepage.

Tips:

  • To return to the Home page from within a class, click Menu at the top left, then click Home .
  • To minimize the navigation menu to a collapsed version, click Menu at the top left.

Common tasks on the Home page

  • Join a class as a student
  • Review upcoming assignments in the “Due soon” module
  • See your work for a class
  • Open your Classroom Calendar
  • Turn notifications on or off
  • Unenroll from a class

To open the Stream page for a class:

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In. Sign in with your Google Account. For example, you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.com. Learn more.
  2. On the class card, click the class name.

  • To return to the Home page, at the top left, click Menu Home .
  • To minimize the menu to a collapsed version, at the top left, click Menu .

  • See your class information
  • See your work for a class
  • Post to the Stream page
  • Join a video meeting for education
  • See your overall grade for the class
  • Classwork includes assignments, questions, and quiz assignments.
  • Materials include other class resources, such as extra readings.

To open the Classwork page for a class:

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In. Sign in with your Google Account. For example, you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.com. Learn more.
  2. On the class card, click the class name.
  3. At the top, click Classwork.
